‘All Or Nothing: Manchester United’ could be coming to our TV screens – on Amazon Prime, not Comedy Central.
Following the hugely successful latest edition of the All or Nothing Amazon series with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, it appears as though TV bosses have turned their attention to the biggest club in the land – Manchester United.
As is reported by The Sun, Amazon and Netflix are set for a multi-million-pound tug of war in their attempts to strike a deal with Man United to follow events behind the scenes, presumably from the start of next season.
Considering how entertaining recent campaigns have been from the outside looking in at Man United, we could only imagine what it’d be like to be a fly on the wall in the dressing room.
The report claims that Amazon forked out around £10m to get a deal done with Arsenal. You imagine it’ll take more than that to get Man United on board, with the club’s commercial value almost incomparable.
It’s a shame that the past few seasons were not documented in this manner, but it’d be extremely intriguing nonetheless to witness Erik ten Hag’s attempt to whip the squad back into shape after several years of failure.
Whether it will be on Amazon Prime or Netflix remains to be seen, but there appears to be a good chance that the Man United hierarchy will listen to offers, should one arrive that’s deemed financially beneficial.
