Aleksandar Mitrovic taunts Sunderland fans after FA Cup win

The rivalry between Sunderland and Newcastle United has rumbled on for 131 years and it continued last night when a former Newcastle player made his feelings known about the Black Cats yesterday evening.

Fulham beat Sunderland 3-2 at The Stadium of Light in the two sides’ FA Cup 4th Round replay and after the match, former Newcastle and now Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, admitted he was still a Newcastle man after helping his side to victory.

I’m a Geordie boy so they don’t like me here and I knew that! It was a good atmosphere tonight and it is a win against Sunderland so a lot of Newcastle fans will be happy as well!

Fulham went 2-0 up with first and second-half strikes from Harry Wilson and Andreas Pereira before Jack Clarke pulled a goal back for Sunderland, but Layvin Kurzawa made sure of the win in the 82nd minute before Jewison Bennette grabbed a consolation in the final few seconds.
