Alan Shearer has claimed that Eddie Nketiah won’t be able to sleep after missing a key chance against Manchester City on Wednesday night.
The Gunners passed up a huge opportunity to put some distance between them and the Manchester side on Wednesday but instead got leapfrogged by the defending champions.
City now sits top of the league on goal difference but does have a game in hand over Mikel Arteta’s side. Although they lost the game, the North London team had some great chances to grab more goals but were unable to take them.

Nketiah is as guilty as any of the players for this and Shearer believes he will struggle to sleep after failing to capitalise.
“He doesn’t get the connection.” he told Amazon Prime
“I think he hits it with the shoulder rather than the forehead that he was trying to connect with to guide it in.
“He won’t sleep tonight. But you have always got the chance to rectify your mistake and three days’ time he will hopefully put on in the back of the net and he won’t remember this.”
