Tottenham are considering making a January swoop for Wolves winger Adama Traore, according to information published by The Athletic.
Adama is one of the most entertaining players in the Premier League, such is his electric speed and mazy dribbling skills. However, his end product is virtually non-existent. The Spaniard does not have a single goal or assist to his name this season.
Still, that doesn’t seem to have done his stock within English football much harm, or so suggests a report from The Athletic that claims Tottenham could make a move to sign Adama before the January transfer window closes.

The report notes that Spurs almost bagged Adama in the summer but the deal never materialised. With the asking price now set as low as £20m, Antonio Conte’s men could be set to go back into the market in an attempt to sign him.
You assume that they would be doing so in hope of Adama refining his final product at some point in time, but there doesn’t appear to be much prospect of that happening. He is, after all, now in his mid-20s.
