BREAKING: Roman Abramovich sanctioned by UK government – HUGE consequences for Chelsea

Posted by

BREAKING NEWS: Roman Abramovich has been sanctioned by the UK government. Chelsea CANNOT be sold.

Abramovich was always thought to be on the government’s hitlist following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, such were his close ties to Vladimir Putin and alleged influence in the construction of his cabinet.

In anticipation of sanctions to come, Abramovich publicly-listed Chelsea for sale, with the process accelerated to ensure that he got his cash out of the UK and Chelsea were passed over to less problematic owners.

However, that no longer appears to be possible, with Abramovich’s assets having been frozen, including Chelsea, which will prohibit the sale of the football club.

What does this mean for Chelsea?

Well, they now have an owner which is not allowed to feed cash into the club. Unless the UK government give him the green light to sell, this could have enormous consequences for the West London giants.

It’s a time of REAL uncertainty for the fans.
