Ex-Arsenal star struggling to secure Premier League return as FOURTH club exit race

Crystal Palace have become the latest club to exit the race for former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, according to the Daily Mail.

Ramsey was a key figure during his time at the Emirates, but when his contract came to the point of expiration, he made the decision to leave the club and pursue silverware in Turin.

While Ramsey has won trophies during his time as a Juventus player, it hasn’t been nearly as successful as he would have hoped on an individual level. He is now understood to be deemed surplus to requirements.

There has been strong suggestion that Ramsey could pursue a move back to the Premier League this month, but as is reported by the Daily Mail, he has already snubbed Newcastle United, Wolves and Burnley.

While he was understood to be interested in the idea of working under Patrick Vieira at Selhurst Park, Palace are now believed to have exited the running to sign him, leaving him with little to no options.

It’s unclear whether Ramsey is being overly picky with his next club or his inflated wages are proving to be a stumbling block. Either way, it’s hard to see him returning to England this month.

It’s a shame, with Ramsey being an undoubtedly talented footballer who is at risk of wasting the final years of his prime. He ought to value playing the game over increasing his bank balance…
