Dayot Upamecano gives England ‘ADVICE’ on how to stop Kylian Mbappe

Ahead of the monumental quarter-final clash on Saturday, Dayot Upamecano has given the English team some advice on how to stop Kylian Mbappe.

The PSG and French winger have been in phenomenal form so far in this tournament. With five goals to his name already, Mbappe has been a near unstoppable force, giving opposition fullbacks nightmares.

But French centre-back Upamecano has given the England team some crude advice if they want to stand a chance against the 23-year-old.

“Kylian is a completely different forwards to anyone else. He’s a world-class player and it’s difficult to defend against him. You have to go to bed early.” he said.

I’m sure the England team have already assessed this option but it’s nice of Upamencano to state the obvious for them.

After rumours emerged that Kyle Walker will be the man handed the dreaded task of marking Mbappe, France midfielder Youssuf Fofana isn’t too worried about the Manchester City fullback.

“If he can stop Kylian, then good for him. But there are 19 other teams in the French League who are still waiting to find that answer,” he said.

“The truth will be on the pitch and we’ll see on Saturday what will happen. But, as a Frenchman, l believe in Kylian.

“Kylian doesn’t read what’s written, he concentrates on the match. He’s going to be focused on what’s expected of him, rather than the players he will face. He’s very composed and determined.”

Do you think that Walker stands a chance against Mbappe on Saturday night?
