Manchester City was denied a stone wall penalty at the end of their Champions League clash after an RB Leipzig player clearly stopped the ball with his hand.

Pep Guardiola’s side got off to a good start in their Champions League knockout game after Riyad Mahrez opened the scoring in the first half but couldn’t hold on to the end.

Josko Gvaridol equalised for the Bundesliga team with only a few minutes left and that’s how the game finished.

But Manchester City should have had a penalty after there was a clear handball in Leipzig’s penalty area in the last minute of the game.

It seemed that the match finished before VAR even had a chance to check it.
