Sarah McInerney has overtaken Claire Byrne as the new favourite to land the Late Late Show hosting job according to Boylesports.
The Prime Time TV presenter was originally further down the list at 16/1 but after some sharp viewers spotted that she has been followed by members of The Late Late Show team on social media, she instantly became the favourite.
After 14 years on the show, Ryan Tubridy announced that we would be stepping down as the host at the end of the season.

He confirmed that tonight’s country music special will be his final in the job.
“This Late Late Country Music special will be my final one at the helm.” he said.
“It all started out really when I was not long in the job as the presenter of The Late Late Show and when driving around the country, I kept seeing posters of gigs of different country stars and it was a world that I wasn’t familiar with. And so it began.
“I quickly learned that it was a world that brought people together and while I will miss seeing everybody on an annual basis, I have made a lot of friends in the country music world, and that has been my privilege.”
