The former Manchester United midfielder was not a fan of Virgil van Dijkâs comments after the 0-0 draw at Anfield.
Many expected Jurgen Kloppâs side to steamroll the Manchester club with predictions similar to last yearâs 7-0 thrashing being thrown around.
But unusually, the game was a rather tame affair with neither side really putting their stamp on proceedings.
In an interview with Sky Sports after full-time, Van Dijk claimed that âthere was only one team trying to win.â
âUnfortunately it didnât happen. That is why it is frustrating because we want to win every game. Especially when you play against a team like them.â He said.
Keane who was in the Sky Sports studio was not happy with his âarrogantâ comments and hit out at the Dutch defender.
