Haaland netted two goals and grabbed an assist during the game in an inspired performance.
Speaking after full-time, the Norwegian revealed that he felt pressure from the fans after they started chanting ‘Keano’ at him.
“I felt a little bit [of pressure before the penalty], lots of people singing to me ‘Keano’, I don’t know why! I had the pressure.” he told Sky Sports.
“I scored. It was a fantastic feeling. It was a nice celebration, both of them. I had pain in my knees after the assist from Bernardo!”
The chant referred to the notorious incident between the Manchester United legend and Haaland’s father when Keane put in a horrific challenge.
When questioned about this after the game, Keane jokingly responded.
“I don’t know… Maybe they meant ‘Robbie’ Keane.” he said.
