After the full-time whistle was blown, both sets of players got into it because Willie le Roux reportedly celebrated in front of the opposition players.

The cameras cut away at that point but new overhead footage shows the altercation in full.

    1. Wayne, jy klink meer soos n sout voêl as n Springbok.
If you look carefull he ran from the green kant to thank the white kant onfor the nice game they had.
Then Willie invited them all for a BBQ and told the it is a ” bring and braai” the the white kant wanted to know id they may bring a chop for each of the white kants players

    2. The English were offered 72minutrs to prove they can win, they neglected to comply, the bokke only needed 8 minutes and they coplied, now becaise they failed to use their oppertunities they cry.

        1. I am learning these boere seuns English. They got difficulty in knowing the difference wiff kant and doos. Now white kant is not nice, but but white doos is. But if you just say kant that’s OK, I but just saying doos is not OK. It’s complicated but we learning them

    1. Yeah sore because the Boks cheated at the scrum used unacceptable engagement for penalties
Same as footballers diving in the penalty box
Referees hands are tied because it is deemed acceptable

      1. My fok Stefanus ( Afrikaans for FOR FUCK SAKE STEVE!!!!) Jy Praat Kak nou fokken Kak , jy most maar gaan Kak praat aan jou KANT!

      2. Really we dont cheat you cant scrum have to pick a fight lose the game and tbe fight and are even cheeky with the ref

      3. Does not matter. Why did the guy attack him. The game is over and they have lost. Just another soar looser. That should be a criminal case. The game is over and done. You cannot assault somebody because you loose. This guy should be banned from rugby for life. He is nothing better than a soccer hooligan.

        1. You’ve definitely got your beer goggles on mate. This is Rugby, not football. You don’t run up and get in the face of the opposition when you’ve just beaten them!
Absolute scum. Should be Willy Wonka getting banned….

        2. Yes I agree ban him for life as well as the SA number 5 for forcefully pushing someone after the final whistle. Behave. It’s all handbag caused by some idiot over celebrating winding players up. Celebrate in the group. But still handbag at dawn…ban for life 🤣😂🤣😂

  1. English supporter you mean, nothing wrong what Willie does. Celebrate in the face of your enemies, it’s not an insult but celebration! Real Springbok supporter!

    1. Yeah so what… Willie is a sore winner… blame him? Win, then you can show him how to win gracefully…

  2. The ref had a game of two halves, one for England and then for SA. to miss the last scrum were SA prop went down and into the scrum from the side which should have been a penalty to England, he let it go when he was stood opposite to that play, that’s why England at that point would have won the game. It was just wrong!!!!!

    1. No the first issue was the knee on the ground from an English player. So it always goes back to the first offence

    2. Revisit the video Genge knee in the ground even before ball is put in Still in Fafs hands. It is a penalty We did not make the rules

    3. Sorry Michael your lack of knowledge of the game and it’s laws are making you post completely wrong interpretation of what actually happened – Genge gies down on his left knee which then creates a break in the bind because he is illegally lower than Ox and that’s why Ox appears to be shoving in sideways – 1st transgression is penalised so you can’t penalise Ox for an illegal shove – problem is nobody is mentioning Farell backchatting the ref resulting in the penalty advancing 10m to within kicking range and costing England 3 points

      1. Then why didn’t the ref blow when his knee came down straight away, perhaps because the ball was still in the scrum half’s hands and not in the scrum and it had no affect on the front row. Earlier in the game the ref allowed SA props to go to their knee without being penalised. I’m an ex tighthead and the overhead shot clearly shows the SA tight head at fault.

          1. He missed or decided not to penalise your loosehead in your half earlier in the game. I think his handling of the scrum was poor and inconsistent, although I doubt any ref was once a front row forward and so will never fully understand the dark arts that go on there.

      2. Hi Henry, my problem with the penalty is, firstly why didn’t he blow as soon as Genge dropped to his knee as it was a SA put in there was no benefit to playing advantage, and secondly why earlier in the game had he ignored the SA loosehead dropping to his knee in a similar situation but closer to SA try line.

  3. I blame Farrel, if he doesn’t back chat the ref in the first half, they don’t move 10mtrs up and don’t kick for goal? Those are the 3pts that cost us, fair play SA no complaints from me about your game, just proud of our boys.

  4. Be truthful England needed a try,the score at half-time was still to close for comfort.SA were always in the game.Being an England fan we move on from this lost, but like I said we do need to score tries more often in a match.

    1. I agree that the England team could have done with scoring a try and may well have managed to do so had they kicked for the corner flag especially in the first half instead of going for the 3 points of kicking for the posts. Having said that SA are really strong in defence but as seen with their try even a momentary lapse in concentration from a single player can be all that is needed.

    1. This rugby. Men not girlie’s. The dark arts are part of it. Stop whingeing. You didn’t win England. The bombs in yhe last 20 were inevitable, its what south Africa do.

I enjoyed seeing south Africa shit a few bricks though. Took the forwards out of the game for long periods and the speedsters on the back foot with great tactical kicking by england

      1. I’ve no problems with dark arts, been there done that. My issue is the ref hadn’t a clue what was going on and most don’t understand the front row.

  5. Anyone taking on SA’s number 19 in a physical spat is either downright stupid or outrageously brave.

On the game, I’m English and we did what we always do – try to sneak wins. Instead of going for a likely match winning try at 15-6, we kept kicking the ball back to the most physically strong side in the history of the game and a side that needed the ball to score.

Hard not to be a SA fan, they just never give up and get stronger and stronger while others fade.

  6. Let’s face it Willie is an idiot and shouldn’t be in the Springbok team. He is a has been and a pain in the ass on the field and i cringe everytime he walks onto the field. He brings no worth to the team. As for his celebration I think it’s pathetic and its not how the boks should behave. Ox was a true gentleman and Willie should have followed suit. Instead he ran around like a wanker. As for my fellow South African supporters commenting you shouldn’t act like this either, have a bit of class. The Boks did well to win and im proud of them. Dont spoil it with stupid comments.

    1. I tend to agree David. Let’s be honest. England played an outstanding game, and totally dominated the game in all spheres. Conversely we were very poor, and very lucky to pull it off. It was poor judgement & very undignified of Willie le Roux to have have gotten into the faces, and provoked the opposition the way he did. Sure the great Springboks of the past, would be shaking their heads. Having said that, we played terribly … and still won, so what does that say about Englands inability to put us away. We deserve a final given the route we had to travel, England had it very easy by comparison. Go Bokke!

    2. Well said mate. Couldn’t have put it better myself. Willie should get a ban for that. Absolutely no class!

  7. So sad, rugby is a hard game and all who have played know that. Some of these replies fom both sides are disgusting. The game is over let it be. Well played England from a loyal SA supporter. Can’t wait for the final Saturday night go Bokke the whole country is behind you.

  8. As for the racial slur question I am willing to believe it could have been a mistake by Curry over what he thought he heard .
I thought England played the best game they have played for maybe 2 seasons . Tactically and
Physically they got it right. Just couldn’t sustain it for the full eighty. As for Wille he’s a knob .
The Bokkers will need to play a lot better to beat the AB
