The Manchester United supporters started to troll Frenkie de Jong after their side knocked Barcelona out of the Champions League with a statement win last night.
The Red Devils conquered La Liga leaders Barcelona in an extremely entertaining clash on Thursday evening, more reminiscent of a Champions League final than a Europa League last 32.
Erik ten Hag’s side won 2-1, thanks to goals from Fred and Antony on the night, 4-3 on aggregate over the two legs.

But after the game had finished, United fans decided to roll De Jong with a “Frenkie, Frenkie what’s the score?” chant at full time.

The Dutch midfielder infamously turned down the opportunity to sign for the Catalan club in the summer, insisting that he would rather play in the Champions League rather than the Europa League.
Now he has neither.
