Manchester City are interested in prising away Kobe Mainoo from their bitter rivals in a deal which would be heartbreaking for United fans.

Nine points ahead in the table, Manchester City have widened the gap between their rivals in a season which many United fans hoped would be closed.
To rub salt into the wounds, City are reportedly interested in signing their prized academy prospect Mainoo, according to FourFourTwo.

The midfielder was expected to play a big part in Ten Hag’s squad this year but suffered an injury against Arsenal in pre-season which has kept him out of the team until now.
He is part of the travelling squad to take on Fulham at Craven Cottage tomorrow.
