According to the Irish Examiner, Kilmacud Crokes are expected to counter Glenâs objection of the All-Ireland final result from last weekend.
There was huge controversy in the club All-Ireland final last Sunday, when Kilmacud Crokes narrowly defeated Glen. The incident occured during the final moments of the game when the Dublin club was deemed to have an extra man on the pitch.
Although you could argue that the overall result wasnât affected, it was still a direct breach of Rule 6.44 (b) (i): âa team exceeding the number of players permitted under Rule 2.1 Rules of Specification, Playing Rules (15 players)â.

Crokes will go before the GAAâs Central Competitions Control Committee on Friday to give their official stance on the matter. According to the Irish Examiner, the club arenât interested in a replay and âwould sooner return the cup than play the game again.â
