Liverpool fans everywhere will be bitterly disappointed after Jurgen Klopp admitted that they will not sign any more players this transfer window.
Liverpool has performed far below their high standards this season and the Premier League table reflects this. They were expected to challenge for the title but they currently sit ninth, a whopping 21 points behind league leaders Arsenal.

Although they have been active in the January transfer window they have only brought in one player Cody Gakpo and fans feel like the club has ignored the most important position, midfield.
Klopp is in desperate need of an extra body in midfield but according to his latest press conference, they will have to do without one until at least the summer.

There were rumours that the club could be in for Moises Caicedo along with Arsenal and Chelsea but that now seems to have only been a hopeful rumour.

I have never seen Liverpool players so openly dirty in their tackling as they were against Brighton in the 4th round cup game. May be some can be excused by the old adage about players being booked for bad tackles. . Sorry ref , 5 years ago I would have got there sooner. Liverpool have become an old team struggling to compete with younger talented teams like Brighton.
