Erik ten Hag was spotted out at dinner with Alex Ferguson earlier this week and has now revealed what the two discussed.
Despite slightly successful seasons under previous managers, it feels like Manchester United is back on the right path for the first time since Ferguson left.
The Red Devils got their Premier League campaign off to a rough start but after a few bumps and some key signings, they seem to finally be regaining that confidence that made them a dominating presence.

It’s all down to Ten Hag who has revolutionized the culture of the dressing room, his side now sits third at the table and only a few points off the top spot.
Earlier this week the Dutch manager was seen having dinner with Ferguson and he has now revealed that the United legend shared some advice.

‘It’s massive. I always enjoy speaking with people who have a lot of knowledge, a lot of experience,’ he said.
‘He wants to share it, he wants to help and support.
‘Manchester United is his club and he feels so committed. We are doing well. It was a great night and I look forward to the next night with him.’
