Garry Ringrose has been ruled out of Ireland’s Six Nations clash with Italy after picking up a calf injury.

Ireland is set to take on Italy in the Six Nations on Saturday in their third game of an outstanding campaign. Andy Farrell’s side currently sits at the top of the standings after beating both Wales and France in impassive fashion.

But they will have to face Italy without Ringrose, it was confirmed that the centre has picked up a calf injury and although not serious, will not be able to play this weekend.
