Liverpool owner John W. Henry has today confirmed that he will not be selling the club despite recent rumours.
There had been talk of FSG putting Liverpool up for sale amid whispers about potential Qatar investment but Henry has said no to any departure from the club.
“I know there has been a lot of conversation and quotes about Liverpool but I keep to the facts: we merely formalized an ongoing process.
“Will we be in England forever? No. Are we selling LFC? No. Are talking with investors about LFC? Yes. Will something happen there? I believe so, but it won’t be a sale.”

It looks as though the Reds won’t follow the same fate as Chelsea, who were bought by Clearlake Capital and Todd Boehly last year after Roman Abramovich was forced to sell the club over the Russia sanctions and allegations made by the government.
