Since the win many fans have speculated over the fantasy match-up between the pair. Mayweather retired after he defeated Conor McGregor in 2017 but has been on a world tour of bizarre exhibition bouts.

In an interview with ESNEWS, Calvin Ford, trainer of Gervonta Davis, recalled Mayweather’s previous comments.
“The question is, is Floyd going to come out of retirement and fight Crawford? I remember a statement where he said that if Terence beat Spence, then he would come out of retirement.”
“That’s a good one because you’ve got the old great against the new great. The pay-per-views would be stupid!”

I really hope this remains a fantasy. Floyd has been away too long now to be able to come back in any meaningful way. If he does, the Floyd in the ring will NOT be the Floyd of old. If Terence wins, it will be like ‘well you won against a 46 year old retiree – big deal’ and if he lost well that would be extremely damaging, losing to a retiree who last fought 8 years ago.
