Jon Jones clearly isn’t happy with Tom Aspinall.
Aspinall recently claimed the interim UFC heavyweight championship after Jones suffered an injury and had to pull-out of his fight with Stipe Miocic.
There have been calls for Jones to be stripped of his heavyweight crown to allow new contenders to keep the division moving.

The MMA legend has taken exception to those calls and took to X formerly Twitter and posted:
‘I’ve faced the absolute toughest competition this world had to offer for 15 years now. During camp for a title defense I sustained a major injury that required surgery for the first time in my career. Now I have newcomers requesting I get my championship stripped. Zero wins over legends, zero title defenses and already thinking you can call the shots to Dana, that’s hilarious. In my 15 year career I have seen so many guys who are supposed to be the next big thing. There’s ever only been one Jon Jones, never forget that. 🤫’

I do think it’s genuine from Aspinol. I also believe that the Stipe fight should go back burner. There is enough buzz around interim Champ to be the best ppv draw. Not only that but since UFC allowed a interim title fight the only fight that makes sense next is champ vs champ.
