Rio Ferdinand took to social media following the shocking scenes in La Liga last night.
He posted:
‘How many times do we need to see this young man subjected to this shit? @LaLiga @UEFA @FIFAcom.’
But the fact Ferdinand tagged Pele in the post didn’t go un-noticed.
The Brazilian great sadly passed away in December of last year and fans were quick to respond to the United legend’s post.
Of course Pele’s account is still active so Ferdinand was probably just trying to get the message out there.
