Andre Ward has said that he is open to fighting Jake Paul in either a pro contest or an exhibition.
Ward retired following his rematch with Russian Sergey Kovalev in 2017.
The American won all of his 32 bouts in the squared circle with 16 wins coming by KO/TKO.
And speaking to The MMA hour on a return he said:
βI think I would be open to something like (an exhibition fight). Iβm not going to make a mockery of my legacy, but if it was something that made sense β¦ I might jump on that.β
βLike Jake Paul?β Interviewer Ariel Helwani asked.
βHell yeah,β Ward continued. I would be open to both (an exhibition or professional match), for sure.β
