Sergio Aguero has gone in on the Portuguese forward stating that his free-kicks are just ‘pure luck’ before claiming that Lionel Messi is a superior goal scorer.

Being one of Messi’s best friends, it’s not surprising that Aguero would side with him in the never-ending GOAT debate.

But the former Manchester City striker has taken it a step forward by having a pop at Cristiano Ronaldo’s free-kick record and then praises Messi’s technique.

“Look where he scores the goal from,” Aguero said on Twitch.

“Come on. All free-kick goals and pure luck. Messi’s are all at the angle, stupid. But what does [Ronaldo] do? Goalkeeper’s fault.

“I think Raul has better goals, [Karim] Benzema, I think he has better ones.”
