The former Manchester United goalkeeper reportedly turned down a 500k contract to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo.
David De Gea hasn’t returned to football since leaving Manchester United in the summer, despite winning the Premier League’s ‘Golden Gloves’ award last season.
Several clubs have been linked with a move for the Spaniard including the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich but as things stand, he is still a free agent.
According to reports from The Sun, the Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr, offered him a 500k-a-week contract to join up with Ronaldo but he turned it down because his wife was not interested in the move.
🚨 David de Gea has turned down an offer from Cristiano Ronaldo’s side Al-Nassr worth around £500,000-a-week because his wife does not want to move to Saudi Arabia and could instead end link up with Lionel Messi at Inter Miami.
