Federico Valverde allegedly punched Villareal attacker Alex Baena in the face after his side’s 3-2 loss at the Bernabeu Stadium.
Los Blancos slipped further away from league leaders Barcelona after losing to fifth-place Villareal on Saturday.
It emerged after the game that the Uruguayan midfielder, Valverde had approached Baena in the parking lot while he made his way to the team bus according to ESPN.

The Spanish midfielder had reportedly made ‘derogatory remarks about his unborn child,’ sources told the outlet and Valverde questioned him about this.
“In the Copa del Rey match, Baena kicked Fede and told him ‘cry now that your son is not going to be born.’ Valverde’s entourage told MARCA referring to the game played in January.
“That stayed there, but today he said another similar thing to him, and Fede got heated. So he waited for him in the parking lot and told him that he was ‘not messing with his family.'”
