Newcastle are eyeing up a move for Arsenal academy product Emile Smith Rowe in January.
The 23-year-old broke onto the scene in 2018 alongside Bukayo Saka but has failed to make a lasting impact unlike his fellow Englishman.
Smith Rowe has been hit with a number of injuries but even when fit, he has struggled to get into Mikel Arteta’s good books.
As doubts grow over the midfielder’s potential future in the team, Newcastle are reportedly set to take advantage of this and make a move for Smith Rowe in the January window.
According to the Northern Echo, the Newcastle directors are set to meet with chairman Yasir al-Rummayan to discuss the potential transfer.
