Manchester United will have to pay a sizeable fee if they want to bring Atlanta wonderkid, Rasmus Hojlund to Old Trafford according to reports from Italy.
The Danish striker has been extremely impressive this season after joining the Serie A club from Austrian side, Sturm Graz.
The 20-year-old has scored seven goals and bagged two assists so far this campaign, catching the eye of several clubs across Europe.
His most impressive performances have come with his international, recently scoring a hat-trick for Denmark in their 3-1 win last month.
His style of play and stature has drawn similarities with Erling Haaland, he is considered a perfect fit for the English game.
Manchester United are keen to add a number nine with Wout Weghorst’s loan deal ending in the summer and is interested in bringing him to Old Trafford.
According to Italian outlet Correire della Serra, Atlanta valuese the young striker between €65 and €70 million but may ask for a higher amount in the summer.
Atlanta manager, Gian Piero Gasperini, claimed that ‘he can be a top future striker’ after their 2-1 win against Spezia in January.
“He has extraordinary margins, the evolution he’s had in recent months. He had to get into matches right away, he’s 19.
“Today he played a sensational match, technically he has margins. In the air, he can do well there too given his stature. He can be a top future striker.”
Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal will have to pay between £58m and £62m if they wish to sign Rasmus Hojlund this summer.
I think we can sign Evan Ferguson if this is true.
