Many fans were furious with the referee after he didn’t award Rodri a second yellow card in the first half but Jurgen Klopp didn’t seem too fussed.
Liverpool was humbled by Manchester City at the Etihad on Saturday afternoon, losing 4-1 in an intense fixture.
But it could have been so different, Manchester City’s Spanish midfielder Rodri was lucky to stay on the pitch after committing a professional foul on Cody Gakpo which should’ve seen him be given a second yellow.

But the referee chose to keep his cards in his pockets.
Speaking after the game, Klopp replied with a surprising and hilarious answer when asked about the incident.
“I’m not sure would’ve won against ten men today” he said.

Liverpool is now chasing a place in the top four but it will be an up hill battle after today’s loss.
