Liam Cahill has delivered some great news to Tipperary fans as he has revealed that he expects Cathal Barrett to be back for the championship.
Supporters were left devastated when it was revealed that Barrett had suffered a scapula fracture during their clash with Kilkenny in the league.

He was expected to be out for up to 12 weeks but the Tipperary manager has now revealed that he expects Barrett to be back for the start of the Munster Championship in April.
“It’s a fracture injury so it’s going to take a little bit of time for it to set back properly but once it does, no better man than Cathal to get back,” Cahill told Tipp FM.
“He keeps himself in great shape anyway to be fair to the chap so once the injury itself heals up, I think he should be back in the field and pushing towards the first round of the championship at least anyway.”
