The FA charged Liverpool for ‘failing to control their players’ during the clash with Manchester City last weekend.
Jurgen Klopp’s side was comfortably beaten at the Etihad 4-1 in an impressive showing from Pep Guardiola’s men.
For Liverpool however, it was a demoralising loss which put them well outside of the Champions League spots and highlighted the gap between the two rivals.

But many felt that Manchester City midfielder Rodri deserved to be sent off for a second yellow in the first half for fouling Cody Gakpo on the break.
Now the FA has charged Liverpool because the players surrounded the referee after the incident occurred.
