Manchester United lost 2-0 to West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon but Erik ten Hag claimed that his team put in a solid performance in his interview afterwards.

The Red Devils have had a poor start to this season and as Christmas approaches, they currently sit eight in the table.

After a resilient display saw them secure a point away at Anfield last week, fans would’ve been hoping that they could kick on but they failed to do so against West Ham.

United were limited to a handful of chances in the game with Jarrod Bowen scoring first in the second-half before Mohammed Kudus punished a Kobbie Mainoo mistake.

Speaking in his interview afterwards, Ten Hag claimed that his team put in a solid performance and claimed that they ‘controlled the game’.
