Phil Foden has pulled out of the England squad after undergoing appendicitis surgery.
The young midfielder has been a standout player for Manchester City this season but they may have to do without him for some huge games after he had his appendix removed.
Gareth Southgate’s England will also have to cope without him for their clash with Ukraine on Sunday.

Although the estimated recovery time has yet to be revealed, Foden will likely miss Manchester City’s clash with Liverpool next weekend.
With only ten games left to overtake Arsenal, this bad news could be pivotal in the title race.
