Dana White has just announced that Conor McGregor will fight Michael Chandler after they finish coaching on the Ultimate Fighter.
The Dublin fighter has stepped foot inside the octagon since July 2021 when he dramatically lost to Dustin Poirier after breaking his leg in a freak accident.
Since then, there has been nothing but rumour and false promises about his return but now it’s official.
UFC president, Dana White has just announced that Conor McGregor will take part in The Ultimate Fighter show as a coach against Michael Chandler and then once the season ends, they will face off inside the octagon.

The season runs from May to Aug.
Last I heard the hope was for them to fight in September.

Chandler is a lightweight fighter in the UFC who has been campaigning for this matchup for a long time, it’s also interesting to note that his last fight was also against Poirier and he also lost.
