Andre Onana has been given a transfer lifeline if things don’t work out at Manchester United.
The 27-year-old has struggled to find his feet at Old Trafford since making the move from Inter Milan in the summer.
The Cameroon international has made several high-profile mistakes which have cost his team, including an error which led to a goal in their Champions League loss to Bayern Munich.
Although he is still adjusting to his new environment, the pressure is beginning to ramp up on Onana with manager Erik ten Hag reportedly considering benching him according to ESPN.
The CEO of Inter Milan, Giuseppe Marotta, refused to rule out a potential return when questioned about Onana’s move to Manchester.
“Anything can happen in football, even if those who do not always have positive results.” he said via Football Italia.
