Wayne Rooney claims that Cristiano Ronaldo ‘got what he wanted’ after leaving Manchester United.
The Portuguese superstar had his contract at the Red Devils torn up back in November after he criticised the club, players and manager in an interview with Piers Morgan.

The 38-year-old even went after Rooney with some of his comments, the former England striker has now claimed that he ‘got what he wanted’ after the interview.
“I suppose he got what he wanted.” he told CNN.
“For Manchester United, it was important to move on as quick as possible from that and really refocus on the group of players who were there and wanted to be there.
“And I think that’s where Ten Hag has done a really good job in refocusing the players and getting them in a position where they are obviously comfortably in the top four and also winning the cup.”
