Manchester United dropped to 14th in the Premier League after suffering a 3-0 defeat against derby rivals Manchester City on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium.
Roy Keane has admitted that one United player has been ‘getting away with murder’ since Ruben Amorim took charge of the club.
Phil Foden opened the scoring for Pep Guardiola’s side, before Erling Haaland netted twice as the Red Devils picked up their second defeat of the season.
Haaland intercepted a misplaced pass from Luke Shaw before running unchallenged into the attacking half, and that led to the goal.
Bryan Mbeumo was one of the rare positives for United, while Benjamin Sesko, the big-money summer signing, has yet again failed to make an impact.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Keane took aim at Luke Shaw over his display at the Etihad Stadium.
“Shaw for the first goal,” Keane began. “Shaw is an international footballer.
“For him to get caught out like that… I think Shaw has been getting away with murder for years at United. Always injured, never quite fit.
“We make excuses, then he gets a few games under his belt, then he’s making decisions like he doesn’t even want to tackle people.
“We looked at all the stats – not one yellow card. We’re having the big build-up. Manchester derby, it’s raining, set up for a few tackles to be flying in. Man United walk off the pitch.
“I’m sick of repeating myself. You shouldn’t be able to get out of bed for a week after a tough game. They’re all walking off. Not one yellow card…”

Many fans have criticised Keane for his comments. Fans have suggested that football has changed over the years, and old-school aggression is no longer tolerated.
There are others who believed that players lacked intensity that is required in a derby.
