According to the Sun, Lingard gave the Police the name of man that doesn’t even exist along with a fake address.
But Lingard received a letter at his home in Altrincham from Greater Manchester Police as he was the registered keeper of the car.
He today pleaded guilty to failing to provide information about who was driving his vehicle at Manchester Magistrates’ Court and was fined £900 with a further £560 in costs and banned from the roads for six months.
