Manchester United have suffered their second defeat of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign after losing 3-0 against Manchester City.
Phil Foden scored the first goal of the game, and Erling Haaland added twice to secure a comfortable win for Pep Guardiola’s side.
The Red Devils finished 15th in the Premier League table last season, and they spent big in the summer window to bolster the squad.
They are 14th in the table after a sluggish start, and the pressure is already mounting on Ruben Amorim.
Sky Sports has shared an interesting stat that shows Amorin has a win ratio of just 25.8% in the Premier League.

In fact, the Portuguese have the poorest record of all the United managers since the Second World War.
Sir Alex Ferguson had 59.67%, the highest percentage among all United managers. Jose Mourinho followed the legendary manager with 58.33%.
Erik ten Hag had 54.69%, and he is third in the table. In comparison, Amorim, sitting at the bottom, has only 36.17%.

Many Manchester United fans have been discussing whether the club should sack him.
One fan wrote: “How did we end up hiring Amorim? What was the selection criteria and selection requirements? How was United unable to notice that hiring managers from Second Tier European leagues such as the Dutch & Portuguese Leagues has only brought us back-to-back worst league finishes? How many clubs in the PL have had success getting managers from the Portuguese or Dutch Leagues? Arne Slot is an exception because he took an unfancied Feyenoord to a European competition final. Amorim never got to the Quarter Finals of any European competition, be it the UCL or the Europa League. How then that a manager who is unable to prove himself at the highest level in Europe was given an opportunity to manage United?”
