Arsenal has taken the steps to beef up their squad by signing young centre-back, Jakub Kiwior from the Serie A.
Arsenal is currently five points clear of the chasing pack, with a game in hand, and is many’s clear favourite to take the title this season.
But many people also have reservations about their ability to fend off Manchester City as they enter the second half of the season. The main reason for this is the difference in squad depth between the two.
Pep Guardiola can turn to a bench full of superstars, whereas Mikel Arteta has slim pickings, especially for a title charge.
He took a step to rectify this by signing Leandro Trossard and has now gone one further by agreeing on a deal for Polish defender, Jakib Kiwior from Spezia in the Serie A.
The 22-year-old is a left-footed centre-back who can also play as a left-back or holding midfielder.
