Pep Guardiola can turn to a bench full of superstars, whereas Mikel Arteta has slim pickings, especially for a title charge.
He took a step to rectify this by signing Leandro Trossard and has now gone one further by agreeing on a deal for Polish defender, Jakib Kiwior from Spezia in the Serie A.
The 22-year-old is a left-footed centre-back who can also play as a left-back or holding midfielder.
