For those of you who are familiar with CollegeHumor, you’ll know that they are famous for their elaborate and sometimes cruel pranks. For those of you who are not familiar with the popular website, let me fill you in.
College Humour is a comedy website based in Los Angeles that features daily original comedy videos and articles created by its in-house writing and production team. One video they made is possibly one of the cruelest yet greatest pranks ever. With close to 14 million views it is certainly a video that will last the ages.
The prank I’m talking about is ‘The Half Court Shot’. Without going into too much detail, the prank was set up by a guy called Streeter, and Streeter was looking to get revenge on his friend Amir (who had pranked him previously) by making him believe he hit a blindfolded, half-court shot for $500,000.
It wasn’t easy to put together and literally needed thousands of people to make it work but when they pulled it off the results were spectacular. See for yourself here:
