Watch these astonishing scenes at the US Open today of a burning blimp crashing after it exploded forcing it’s passenger to parachute to safety.
The Golf Channel reported that emergency services were at the scene and “The blimp was an advertiser and is not connected to FOX or the USGA.”
The blimp landed in a remote field with no direct road access and the 1-man aircraft and its pilot were found near where the U.S. Open golf tournament is taking place in Erin, Wisconsin.
The only footage currently available was captured by Madison Seigworth who uploaded it to her Twitter account.
The video is not very clear but Ms.Seigworth does say “they just parachuted out” although is is unclear to see.
