Monday Night Football Is Officially Dead

Today marks the death of Monday Night Football. Sky should just call it a day now.

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has been appointed as Valencia’s head coach until the end of the season.

The English assistant will work alongside brother Phil at the Mestalla after coach Nuno quit the Spanish side last week.

The La Liga club are owned by Peter Lim who also has a stake in Salford City, where Neville is a part owner.

Whilst Gary Neville has impressed many with his punditry  and tactical insight on Sky Sports, there were no signs that the 40-year-old was looking to get into management so soon, and his appointment at a club the size of Valencia is also quite shocking.
