Forbes have released their list of the highest paid athletes in the world and 3 of the top 5 are football players.
Topping the list is boxer Floyd Mayweather who made a cool $285 million dollars last year mainly thanks to his super-fight with UFC star Conor McGregor.
McGregor features on the list also in the number 4 spot ($99 million) below Lionel Messi in second spot with a total of $111 million dollars quickly followed by Cristiano Ronaldo in 3rd position after making a cool $108 million.
Rounding off the Top 5 is PSG and Brazil star Neymar who managed to earn $90 million dollars thanks his big money move from Barcelona to PSG last season.
