From his hair to his smile, his eyes and his beard, an Egyptian man with a striking resemblance to Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah stole the spotlight at a cafe in Cairo on Wednesday (May 2) as he joined other soccer fans to watch their national hero play in the Champions League semi-final between Liverpool and Roma.
Fans of Egyptian superstar Salah took pictures with his look-alike Ahmed Bahaa as Bahaa’s doppelganger was busy in Rome helping his side secure an aggregate 7-6 win to ensure passage to the Champions League final and face Real Madrid.
Waiters and customers alike shook hands, hugged, and took photos with Bahaa, the 30-year-old business graduate who first met the PFA Player of the Year in 2016.
