It’s been revealed that Wayne Rooney uses the persona of Jon Snow from Game of Thrones when playing FIFA 18 so he can compete freely with the rest of the gaming world.
Rooney is a big fan of the fantasy drama, and has decided to use the image of Snow for the cover photo of his account.
It seems the former England captain likes nothing better than to wind down by playing the popular EA Sports game and taking on unsuspecting players online.
A source from the Sun said: “Wayne loves playing FIFA against pals like his old team-mate Wes Brown but sometimes he also likes to take on random strangers. He hides who he is by using a fake name and chose Jon Snow as he loves Game of Thrones.”
