Persela Lamongan goalkeeper, Choirul Huda, has sadly passed away following a clash with one of his own players whilst in action against Semen Padang.
The incident occurred when Persela took on Semen Padang on Sunday . Huda clashed with two players whilst trying to make a save and sustained a head injury. Initially he was conscious after the blow but soon became unresponsive and was given immediate medical attention.
Despite the best efforts of the first responders and doctors Huda was tragically declared dead at 16:45 pm. He was 38 years old.
Never thought the last thing Choirul Huda did in his life is goalkeeping for Persela, the only club he played in his entire career. Legend.
