Former Premier League footballer Clarke Carlisle has been reported missing by his wife who is appealing for his safe return.
The 37-year-old has not been seen since 6am this morning and has a history of mental illness.
According to his wife Carrie he was last spotted in Manchester but has not been seen or heard from since.
Mrs Carlisle is expecting the couples first baby in December and is appealing to the general public for any information concerning her husbands whereabouts.
