Paris Saint-Germain’s world-record transfer deal for a teenager Kylian Mbappe from Ligue 1 rivals Monaco has had the football world talking all summer.

Mbappe, 18, will spend his first season on loan, with the Paris giants having an all-but-certain option to buy him next summer in a deal lasting until 2022.

The deal is said to be worth €180 million plus bonuses, putting it only behind PSG’s €222m signing of Neymar from Barcelona earlier in the summer.

As is customary with all new signings the young French international had to undergo an initiation which usually means singing a song in front of your new teammates.

Despite his huge price tag Mbappe is no exception and had to get up in front of the entire squad to sing and here is the footage thanks to Marco Verratti.
