Barcelona have reportedly reached an agreement with Sevilla over a the transfer of French forward Kevin Gameiro.
There are still a few details to be sorted out, but Barca are expected to announce the signing in the next few days. A fee hasn’t been reported as yet.
The 29-year-old scored 16 La Liga goals (29 in all competitions) for Sevilla last season, helping them finish third in La Liga.
He is viewed as the back-up option for the attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, and is set to become Barcelona’s fifth signing of the summer. So far, the Spanish champions have recruited Andre Gomes, Samuel Umtiti, Denis Suarez and Lucas Digne.
